Rockies' bullpen springs leak

DENVER — Four members of the Colorado Rockies' air-tight bullpen sprung a leak Monday night.

Todd Jones, who had not allowed a run in 13 previous appearances, and Jose Jimenez, who had not surrendered a run of his own in his last nine outings, each gave up runs as the Rockies fell to the Los Angeles Dodgers 11-5 at Coors Field. The loss ended a six-game home winning streak. [ FULL STORY ]

Comment: "Of all the players, game after game after game, she's the one all the opposing coaches would mention — that's the mark of a great player, a player that's respected by her opponent," Boulder coach Pete Carnes said. Let comparisons with NBA's best-ever begin

"We're special," Shaquille O'Neal was saying after the Lakers' dramatic 112-106 overtime victory Sunday over the Sacramento Kings in Game 7 of the Western Conference finals.
